1.1 Eligibility for Returns:

• Products must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
• The item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging.
• Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation or receipt) is required.

1.2 Non-Returnable Items:

• Items explicitly marked as "final sale" or "non-returnable" on the product page.

1.3 Return Process:

• Contact us at returns@akbuzz.com.au to initiate the return process. Include your order number and a brief explanation for the return.
• Once approved, you will receive instructions on how to send the item back to us.
• Customers are responsible for shipping costs for returns unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item sent by us.

2.1 Eligibility for Refunds:

• Refunds will be issued for returned items that meet our return criteria.
• Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
• The original product must be returned to us before any refund is processed.

2.2 Refund Process:

• Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

2.3 Partial Refunds:

• Partial refunds may be granted for items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

3.1 Defective or Damaged Items:

• If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us at support@akbuzz.com.au with your order details and a description of the issue within 7 days of receiving the item.
• We will provide instructions for returning the defective or damaged item and arrange for a replacement at no additional cost.
• The original product must be returned to us before a replacement is issued.

3.2 Wrong Items Received:

• If you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you and provide instructions for returning the incorrect item.
• All incorrect items must be returned before the correct item is dispatched.

4.1 Responsibility for Return Shipping Costs:

• Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning items unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., defective or incorrect items).

4.2 Lost or Damaged Returns:

• We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged during 

transit.

5.1 What Insurance Covers:

Customers who add Shipping Insurance at checkout are protected against:

• Lost items during transit
• Damaged goods due to shipping mishandling
• Stolen packages (verified with delivery confirmation)

5.2 Cost of Insurance:

• Insurance can be added at checkout for a flat rate of $10 per order.

5.3 Filing an Insurance Claim:

To submit a claim, email insurance@akbuzz.com.au within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Include:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Photos of the damaged package/item (if applicable)
• A copy of your shipping confirmation

5.4 Resolution:

If your claim is approved, you will be offered:

• A replacement shipment (at no additional cost), or
• A full refund (including the shipping insurance fee)

Please note: Orders without insurance are not eligible for compensation due to shipping-related issues beyond our control.
