Return and Refund Policy

2. Refunds

5. Insurance Policy

5.1 What Insurance Covers:

Customers who add Shipping Insurance at checkout are protected against:

  • Lost items during transit
  • Damaged goods due to shipping mishandling
  • Stolen packages (verified with delivery confirmation)

5.2 Cost of Insurance:

  • Insurance can be added at checkout for a flat rate of $10 per order.

5.3 Filing an Insurance Claim:

To submit a claim, email insurance@akbuzz.com.au within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the damaged package/item (if applicable)
  • A copy of your shipping confirmation

5.4 Resolution:

If your claim is approved, you will be offered:

  • A replacement shipment (at no additional cost), or
  • A full refund (including the shipping insurance fee)

Please note: Orders without insurance are not eligible for compensation due to shipping-related issues beyond our control.
